Cozily illustrated and generous in dimension, this Portmeirion A Christmas Story chip and dip tray is perfect for tortilla chips and salsa, hummus and pita wedges, or pear slices and baked brie. Created by artist Susan Winget, the piece features colorful imagery and verses from Clement C. Moore's "'Twas the Night Before Christmas." In one dish, a jolly St. Nick sails through the sky in his sleigh. In the other two, snow-topped houses quietly await his arrival. Around the border, printed verses read, "Dash away, dash away, dash away all/To the top of the house, to the top of the wall." Sprigs of holly and a dark red rim complete the festive effect. Crafted from fine translucent porcelain, the tray is substantial in weight and safe in the dishwasher, oven, and microwave. It measures 13 inches in diameter and stands 1-3/4 inches high.
