Honestly the best way to floss:
I've been told by dentists for years that I needed to floss, but holding the thread between my fingers, trying to reach the back of my mouth, getting spit on my hands, losing my grip on the floss, this all drove me nuts. Finally, after being confronted with the grim truth of cavities appearing in my mouth, I decided to get serious about it and actually do it. In the last few years, a lot of products have started coming out that simplify this process. I've tried quite a few of them. There are some where you thread floss yourself between a pair of plastic "uprights". There are some ingenious designs that put tension on the floss when you squeeze. There are any number of clever tricks, but this simple solution is far and away the best I've seen. The shape is simple, it's easy to hold in your hand, the floss is of high quality and good strength. It's not so harsh that it hurts your gums, nor is it so soft that it shreds or breaks. You take a flosser, scrape your teeth like your dentist taught you, and toss it. It's cheap enough (less than ten cents each) that it's economical. I highly recommend it.
