Great product, but no instructions on how to use:
I really thought this was a great product. I wish it had instructions but I figured it out. It has skid resistant pads on it so you can set it on the cutting board to use. I don't think it was unsafe. Small and easy to store. Worked great!

very easy to use. very sharp knives. well made and simple. all the best things. it is not a grinder: so do not expect to remove dings in blades, but even with dings, my sharpened knife slices through ripe tomatoes, which it hasn't done in years. just one of those really great products.
Scalpel sharpening power!:
Holy mackerel! I have some awesome knives (bought here on Amazon) and wanted to keep them razor sharp. Well, this little sharpener does the trick. (Ask the emergency room attendants at my local hospital). Because my knives are so sharp now I have also ordered a cut resistant glove. LOL. In summary, for the price you can't go wrong with this. It is a great product that will get lots of use.

This may work well on really good knives, but I'm not really feeling a difference on mine at home.
