No ordinary jug, the metal two-quart Bias pitcher designed by Neil Cohen for Nambé is as much a sculptural work of art as it is functional. Looking like an aerodynamic sail filling with wind, the leaning pitcher anchors the gravity-defying curve of the belly and spout with the long loop of a handle. The dense metal walls superbly retain heat or cold, and may be chilled in a freezer before serving iced tea on a hot day, or heated in an oven (never a microwave) before filling with hot rum punch.
