There's not really any instructions, so it takes a bit to figure this out. Once you figure out how it works, it is easy to install and looks pretty much like an electrical outlet. The drawbacks are that it only comes in white, contrary to product description, and you can't actually plug anything into it (i.e. I wanted to have a dummy cord plugged in to appear real) A standard plug is loose and makes it look 'fake'. But, it holds a fair amount of stuff and is what I was looking for.
