Great Controller:
I bought this controller for $9.99 after rebate from Circuit City. I used rechargeable AAA batteries in it worked great. Please note that if there is not continuous gameplay after several minutes you might have to hit the connect button which will reconnect the controller to the Xbox in seconds. However, I have not gound it to be an inconvenience.
Xbox Freeplay Wireless Controller:
The controller seems to "cut out" or lock up while playing even though the batteries are fresh and it is clearly connected to the Xbox. It's not as good as the wired controller.
Xbox Freeplay Wireless Controller Review:
This wireless controller is not of sufficient quality to handle daily use for a very long period of time.

bought for my husabdn birthday they locked up in us ended up returning them haven't have replaced them since.
