My sister recommended these and they are really great. My kid could not plug in anything until about 5 years old when I showed him how. Great because if they pull out an existing plug, the outlet is then protected. The sideways design is better than the twisting design of other makes that can get stuck in the open position.
doesn't fit:
These outlet covers do not fit traditional outlets. Notice that there are 2 screw holes--one on top and one on bottom. They did not line up with the standard outlet screw holes. Better to go with a brand that has one screw hole in the middle, as is typical of most outlet covers.
Great product!:
The product is great and works like a charm. The issue with the holes that was brought up from another reviewer is because they offer 2 versions. This one is the "decorative" version so it has the 2 holes which fit some types of sockets. The "standard" version has the whole in the center for the common types. In my particular home we needed both kinds though MOSTLY standard.
