Great Design and Price. Poor Quality.:
I ordered this type of iPod car mount because I wanted to be able to use it in more than one vehicle and the vent clips appealed to me (as opposed to using an adhesive to stick it permanently to the dash). It will mount to either horizontal or vertical dash vents via clip mounts that can be rotated to accommodate the orientation of your registers. It was also reasonably priced. Unfortunately, when I removed it from the packaging and began to assemble it, one of the small metal mounting squares that allows you to connect the vent clips to the back of the iPod mount broke right off with almost no pressure at all. It's a cheap little piece, but absolutely essential if you want to use this mount without permanently attaching it to the dash. Because I needed this thing for a trip I was taking, I just found a way to rig it to work, rather than returning it. Had I more time, I definitely would have sent it back for a replacement. In short: Great design if you want to move it from vehicle to vehicle. Also holds the iPod snug and allows access for battery charger and aux out. However, cheapish construction so be prepared for possible malfunctions.

Cool, but touchy:
This device works great as long as you don't need to adjust it too often. It's a little awkward to slip in the ipod and them attach the casette adapter cord and the charger cord. You have to be oh-so-careful. If not, the clips come off the back and the whole thing comes off.

Sucks!:
Really awful design! It's bulky and cheap looking and cheap feeling. It's so big it doesn't match the look of an iPod at all. Save yourself the money and get a minimalist mount from Target.

GOOD item works well.:
I don't even have an IPOD I actually have a creative zen photo and it fits just fine. It is adjustable and pretty universal and I am happy with this product, it serves its purpose and has 2 ways of mounting it, either in the vent or with the sticky adhesive.
