Just what I wanted:
The scale is a standard doctor's office model. It works perfectly, was easy to put together, and is very accurate.

Fleeced:
HealthOMeter 402KL (Health O Meter) Physician Balance Beam Scale I ordered a "Health o Meter" Physician Balance Beam scale and paid for it by Visa Card. When the scale arrived three weeks later it was not the model that I ordered. Health o Meter was helpful and said that they would send the correct model once IRoams sent them the O.K., but Iroams was rude and told me to "prove" I had ordered another model and said that he (IRoams) was "just a man trying to make a living" and refused to do anything unless I paid the freight both ways, which would have cost as much as the scale itself. Consequently I am stuck with the wrong model. Don't deal with IRoams if you want a Health o Meter scale, buy from someone else. Dr. R. Bennett, Pahoa, Hawaii

Confidence in Your Weight Loss:
Slow and steady wins the race where weight loss is concerned, but if you're aiming to lose between one half and three pounds per week and your cheap bathroom scale changes plus or minus 5 pounds every time you step on it, it's hard to know how you're doing, and too easy to get discouraged. This scale is accurate and repeatable, it has markings in kilograms and pounds, and weighs up to 500 pounds in quarter pound increments. All this with no batteries to replace. This is one case where digital is not better. The one drawback is its size, which may or may not be an issue depending on the size of your bathroom. Also, some minor assembly is required, and mine arrived accidentally unhooked at the top, which the installation instructions didn't address. However, since then, I've had no mechanical issues whatsoever.

A Great Scale!:
I think it is built very well, especially for the price I paid. I like the accuracy and I no longer lose or gain 3 to 5 pounds a day like I did with my old scale. If you want consistency and you have the room for a scale like this, buy it you will not be disappointed.
