Amazon.com Review: Much more elegant than wooden varieties, this Lazy Susan made of 18/10 stainless steel looks chic and rotates super smoothly. A silicone mat covers the top surface so that condiment bottles, jars, and bowls all stay put and won't slide around, even if the youngest member of the family starts it spinning. At 11 inches in diameter, about the size of a dinner plate, the Lazy Susan fits neatly in the center of most tables, putting such necessities as salt, jam, and ketchup in easy reach of everyone. The silicone mat wipes clean. --Ann Bieri
Good stainless steel, poor rubber mat cover: THis turntable comes with a non-slip rubber mat cover which does not lie flat. Perhaps in a failed attempt to make the rubber mat flat, the manufacturer puts double-sided tape between the rubber mat and the stainless steel. Unfortunately, the double-sided tape does not stick well to the rubber, which bunches up in wrinkles, causing it to be difficult to stand up small objects on the mat without them tipping over. Even more unfortunately, if you remove the rubber mat, you have a bunch of stuck, messy, double-sided tape to clean off the stainless steel.
Stainless-Steel Lazy Susan: This product serves the purpose for me, but I thought it might be a little more sturdy than what it was. It holds 8 bottles of coffee syrups with no problems thus far. I read the problems with the rubber mat, and agree; however, you can't see the mat if you have items covering it.
Lazy Susan: I was supprised to see it was as strong as it was. I'm using it to hold a 20" TV. The unit is well built and good looking. It rotates smoothly on ball bearings. I would recommend this Lasy Susan for all your needs.
