A Great Home Steamer - when it works.:
I originally wrote a very glowing review when I first received this item, which is why there are 5 stars...BUT... I used this item twice with EXCELLENT results. It produced steam within 45 seconds and in such a great quantity that I could barely see what I was steaming!!! I was tremendously happy with the unit - until the THIRD time I tried to use it. The steam stopped coming out within about 3 minutes and that was all she wrote. I contacted Earlex Customer Service via email and received a response within three days instructing me to return the item for repair...At MY COST!! I emailed back that I found it to be a rather customer-unfriendly policy to make me pay to return a clearly defective item but they have now evidently decided not to respond to ANY of my emails. I took a chance and shipped the item back (at a cost of $12) and they've now had it for over a week - but nobody has taken the time to email me with a status report or return shipping notification. I'm sorry - this is a great item when it works but it broke way too easily and their customer support is rather hideous. I would look elsewhere for a better built steamer from a better established company that cares about its customers and stands behind its products.

Great product:
I got this item about 7 months ago for under $100.00. I love it. Pros: quickly do all surfaces in kitchen, ceiling to floors. It cleans inside microwave, inside fridge/freezer, great for rubber around doors. This unit is continuous fill,although I give it a few minutes to "warm up" with each fill. Biggest con: handle and some attachments "cheap"; i.e. plastic vulnerable to breakage

Love it!:
I purchased this item because of all the feedback on Overstock.com. I'm glad I did! Continuos steam, gets extremely hot quick, cleans carpet stains, shower doors, dry clean only clothes, mirrors, windows, around the toilet, couches, furniture, everything! We got a puppy about 5 months ago and had many stains around the house, and the cleaner got them out and the smell. I like the storage on it and the extension wands. The only thing I kind of would complain about would be the wand attachments seam kind of flimsy but do their job, and the terry cloth that goes on the floor cleaner and garmet cleaner, it only comes with one each so you need to clean those after each use. But overall great! I would definetely recommend.
