This Timex men's watch has lasted me forever--probably twenty years! I remember wearing it so long ago. This watch is extremely well made and I praise Timex for offering guys a great watch. This watch is perfect for business casual occasions, lunch dates and office environments. It doesn't need to be wound and the minute markers are just large enough for me to be able to tell the exact time. I like that it has a seconds hand--great precision! The watch also comes with the type of band that can be shortened if a guy loses weight--and I know because I did lose weight one time and the jeweler was able to simply remove one or two links from the watchband in order to make the watch fit my wrist. Excellent! There is also a very reliable backlighting device that allows you to see the time when it's dark; and you can change the hour and day rather easily using the knob on the right hand side of the watch. Overall, this watch is perfect for many different occasions. They say it is water resistant but I can't comment on that; I never tried it! I would avoid getting this watch wet just to be on the safe side. This Timex watch is also priced very reasonably and that's great for those of us who are on a budget. I highly recommend this watch.

Cheap, But A Good Value:
Doesn't have as solid a feel as a similar watch I have from Seiko. However, the Seiko watch needs a repair and a new battery only 2 years in and costs five times as much. That's what sent me back to Timex. The watch works fine, looks fine, and claims a battery life of about 10 years. Resizing the band was a bit of a pain, but it's done now.

Great Purchase:
I purchased a Timex Men's Classic Watch on 7/1/08. It was a great price, purchased quick and easy. Already had an account set up so it took only a minute to order the watch. The compliments I have received on the watch has been very surprising. It looks like a very expensive watch, which it's not. I would highly recommend this dress watch for any man.

Wrist Reference:
No need for me to look at a calendar anymore. (Well, I'll gladly look at a Playmate calendar, but let's not go there.) If I need to discern the day or date, all I need do is take a peak at my wrist, which sports the handsome (yet comfortably casual) TIMEX MEN'S CLASSIC TWO-TONE BRACELET WATCH. There's a day/date display at 3:00 o'clock on the face of this nifty timepiece; but there's so much more. With a 10-year battery, this stainless steel watch just runs (and runs). And I'm told it's water resistant to a depth of 100 feet--although I hope I never have to find out. Yet what I love the most about this Timex is its patented 'Indiglo' feature; just press the stem (or knob), and the face lights up. Should I wake up in the dark, all I need do is press my watch to check the time. It's 3:13 a.m.? Okay. I'm rolling over and going back to sleep, thank you very much. The best compliment you can give a timepiece is taking one for granted; that's reliability you don't even have to think about. And when it comes to reliability--coupled with delightful affordability--you can't go wrong putting the TIMEX MEN'S CLASSIC TWO-TON BRACELET WATCH on your wrist. Two tons? Oops, two-tone. I hope I just got 1 Bad apple:
I ordered the watch & recieved it in a couple of days,after wearing the watch it would not keep time--it would lose about 5 minuted every hour!I contacted Amazon about a replacement & was told it would be no problem except it would take about 6 weeks for the replacement to arrive!!I am not so unhappy about the watch as I am having to wait so long for a replacement-I am currently still waiting
