Lwxmark X8350:
USB cable, black/color ink included in the package. Very easy to install: clar instruction provided, even who is not familiar w/computer won't have any problem. Excellent b/w and color print (didn't try photo). Excellent scanner and copy. Easy to use, excellent quality, excellent price for this multifunction printer.
awesome printer for the $$$:
The pictures that I've printed look as if I went to a photo lab..The ink is spectacular for pictures..and everything else.The Ink is limited though and you'll go through a lot...still well worth it though! You can also blow up a wallet size picture or smaller to something as big as 8" x 10"..and it will look professional. My fiance' has a canon pixma..but I like mine better.
Excellent Printer:
I've owned this All-In-One for over a year now and have had no problems with it other than having to download drivers when I upgraded to Windows Vista. I'm very pleased with the quality of printed and scanned items and most of all with the quality of the ink cartridges. I sometimes do not print for several weeks, yet I've never had a problem with printing as I did with my previous printer. The fax works fine although I still have to refer to the manual since this isn't a function I use very often. I purchased this printer for home use and could not be more pleased with it. My granddaughter and her friends use it to do their homework and the life of the print cartridges has been a pleasant surprise. Their price is more than reasonable when you consider how long they last and let's face it, it doesn't matter how well your printer works if you have to replace the cartridges every other time you want to print. I would recommend this All-In-One to anyone for home use, although it is designed for office use, it may not be up to the heavy usage in that kind of environment which may explain the other negative review. The only "negative" comment I can come up with is that customer support is located outside the U.S. and it is sometimes difficult to understand the person you're speaking with, however when I called to find out about drivers for my printer when I purchased Vista I received excellent customer service from Lexmark.
Lexmark INFO IS MISLEADING!:
This printer is only good for xp/vista. It is on the box as it works for older printes but when you open box, only cd for xp/vista. They advertise a website, but it no longer exist. When contacting Lexmark, It's tough luck, get over it. Advised that Windows won't allow them to support the older version. This is wrong of Lexmark and Windows if this is correct. They should stand up and make things right.. They are the ones who are advertising this incorrectly...... support should be there, as long as, item in still being sold....SHAME SHAME LEXMARK!! I do not support the purchase of Lexmark products.. Lexmark is not doing what's right. Bad customer experience... after hours of searching was able to find on website, but not because of Lexmark.. Thanks to other customers for information.. I appreciate YOU!
Great Value:
We purchased this printer to use for Outburst Web (www.outburstweb.com), a web design and development company, and it has been great. We use it primarily for scanning documents or printing invoices and it does a good job at both. This thing looks pretty slick too. I think you'll be happy with your purchase.
