Comparing Kraft's 'Deluxe' mac & cheese dinners:
Amazon sells four Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Deluxe dinners. They're all pretty good. Each uses packets of cheese sauce, not packets of powder, so the cheese is never clumpy and distributes itself evenly. My husband, teenage daughter and I cooked up all four and did our own taste test. Here's what we found: The Original Cheddar flavor (Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Deluxe Dinner, 14-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 8)) is good. Plenty creamy, it tastes like a homemade version of the Kraft standard (i.e., Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Scooby Doo Shapes, 5.5-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 24)). The Sharp Cheddar flavor (Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Deluxe Dinner, Sharp Cheddar, 14-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12)) is slightly tastier, and has a subtle smoky aftertaste. The light meal (Kraft Deluxe Macaroni & Cheese Dinner - Light, 14 oz) is pretty good, ut when you try it side by side with the original flavor you can tell it's not as rich. Still, if you only buy this one you'll be happy. If you're counting calories go for it. But it's this one, the Four Cheese meal, that's the best. With the most cheese flavor, it combines American, cheddar, colby and parmesan, and tastes similar to what you'd find at a decent restaurant. The parmesan flavor is especially noticeable. These Deluxe dinners cost about twice as much as the basic Kraft boxes, but in each case you can really taste the difference.
Tasty but expensive:
This must be a bulky item, they are thinking about how much space it takes up in their warehouse. It is hard to keep cheap items like this around unless you are moving a lot of them. The product itself is delicious, I like it much better than the standard variety but not more than Annie's white cheddar.
TOO Pricey:
I give this 3 stars because it is too pricey at $28.80 pack of 12, even with the promotional discount. I can get this for $1.52 a pack, almost $1.00 less than the Amazon price. Better yet, now it is on sale for $1.28 a pack. I won't buy this here. It is worth a trip to the store.
Mmmmm:
If you like macaroni and cheese, this is the best. Only better product would be to make it from scratch yourself. The four cheeses blend well. It will compliment any meal as a sidedish.

I ordered this Kraft Mac and cheese Deluxe dinner Four Cheese sauce 14 Ounce boxes pack of 12 I was scaptic on buying these products so I baught it and I really loved it the price is really good and I do work in a grocery store and I did add it up you buy the same amount of boxes it would be the same but it would be a little higher at the grocery when you add the tax so I think I did a great job in on buying for the right price i would buy this product again is they can keep the price of 27. and some change so buy this and I tell you that you will be hooked if you love mac and cheese as I am
