Excellent choice for problem areas:
I bought this specifically for a room in which the walls were uneven on the surface. I had read that this is a great choice for that because of the texture. The "orange peel" description is very accurate. It is very textured and looks better on the walls than I thought it would. I think it would look even nicer painted. I haven't painted it yet...I will eventually when I am bored with the current look and wanna change it up a bit. I was not disappointed at all. It hides uneven areas of the wall underneath the wallpaper due to the texturing. I guess really it is more or less of an optical illusion. The texture adds dimension and therefore hides minor imperfections and uneven areas. It is fairly heavy wallpaper, although not the thickest I have seen. I am very happy with the purchase and had no problems as far as installing. It is prepasted but I opted to use a wallpaper glue as well. I bought this for our children's bathroom. We redid the whole bathroom, floors and all and this textured wallpaper really added a nice touch and the bathroom looks great. The dimpled areas of the wallpaper are deeper than I though they would be and I was more pleased with the actual look than the online look. I would definitely recommend this...even for use on areas that don't have imperfections on the underlying surface. It is just a really different, really nice finished look.
