Just Lovely:
This little trinket box is one of the sweetest ones I have ever seen. It is so delicate. The tiny rose on top is just beautiful; this type of addition is called "sculpted" meaning it was made seperately from the porceline piece and attached onto it. It is a beautiful dark pink color and matches the sculpted flowers on other Old Country Rose pieces. The real surprise is inside the box. The lid opens to reveal a tiny sculpted rose inside the little teapot. I had planned to put rings in my teapot box, but I didn't want to damage the little flower petals inside. Everyone I show it to just oohs and ahhhs when they see the little rose surprise. I think you could safely put earrings or a ring inside but no shaking allowed. :)

I currently have 2 Royal Albert pieces, one being the kitten rose trinket and also this teapot trinket and I can say that I am definitely a fan and collector of these pieces now. This item has a MSRP value of $50 so I was happy to get mine on the popular auction site for only $12 plus s & h which is a steal but this price on here is amazing too!! This teapot trinket is trimmed beautifully in gold and even has a little dark pink 3d rose inside the teapot. The hinge is nice and tight and it comes beautifully gift boxed, I really love this piece. When you get it at home you will not be able to stop stairing at it, that is just how pretty and danty it really is. My bedding and draperies are done in pink roses and so now I have been collecting all kinds of beautiful collectibles that I think will go nicely and I know I will return to buy more Royal Albert pieces in the near future.
