I have used the lower dose 'Sinupret' for a few years now but eventually ended up taking 2 pills, 3X/day during my really bad sinus infections due to allergies. When they finally started making this double dose pill, I was ecstatic. Not only is it cheaper but I have found that I need to take only one pill per day unless my sinuses start to really clog up, then I take one pill, 3X/day with truly remarkable control of my congestion. With the return of spring and open windows, I revert back to one pill/day. Getting rid of my allergens would of course be the preferred route of treatment but I refuse to get rid of my 14 year old cat so using this small little pill to help me get through life WITH my cat is fantastic. I bought the Sinupret tablets and liquid about 5 months ago, hoping it will alleviate my allergies. The first two days it worked but after that it made my sinus worst. So I recommend trying it out first.
