Grilling appliance perfect for singles and couples:
I am single and loves to eat grilled meat. Unfortunately, my landlord prohibits use of grilling equipment that could meet the grilled food standards I want. So, I saw this on the mailer and thought the price is not too bad. I received my order last night and hereunder are my notes; 1.0 SIZE- The Rocket Grill is not too big so I was able to easily find a spot for it in my small kitchen. 2.0 INITIAL SET-UP It took me around five minutes trying to figure how it works by merely looking/eyeballing (at) the equipment. I'm pretty handy but I did start to scratch my head. So I read the manual-Voila, within five minutes, I was able to figure out how this works. 3.0 TESTING- I put a piece of unfrozen 8-0z Angus Beef. Popped it in, set the timer to five-minute, heat my vegetables while waiting. Behold-medium-well steak- just the way I want it with the beautifully even grilled marks on both sides of the steak. 4.0 Post-cooking- cleaning-up is usually the part that I don't relish. But not with this equipment. I just discarded the pouch. No drips to wipe, and no chars to scrub. 5.0 CAVEAT- The equipment comes with only 12 pouches. You need 1 pouch per a max of probably 16 ounces of meat/vegetable. 36-pouches could cost you around $20(incl.of shipping costs). This equipment will be my most used cooking gadget-oh, second after the microwave oven .

Fabulous Find!:
Bought this item to replace a previous grill, no names here, but the clean up process was wearing me out. Saw the Rocket Grill when I researched replacing older one. It was/is a fabulous find!! There is virtually no clean up and we can cook almost everything in it. From breakfast sausage to steaks, hot dogs to pork chops. They come out wonderful, juicy and in just minutes and with absolutely no clean up. Insert a bag, insert item to cook, turn on timer and done! Just throw away the bag. Best invention yet.

the perfect appliance:
Very simple. I'm all about the least amount of work in the kitchen. And this little goodie is absolutely the minimum work possible. Dump the food in the parchment bag and slip into the slot. And the best part of it--NO CLEAN-UP. Absolutely nothing to clean up. It's absolute nirvana!

Shoddy workmanship:
I loved the concept of the grill and I managed to convince myself that the fact that burgers and steaks came out really dry meant they were less fatty and therefore healthier. I put up with the price and relative difficulty in locating of replacement bags, chalking it up to the cost of owning a niche item. Then, this week, the knob came right off. It sheared off at its base, rendering the built-in timer totally useless. That's it. After six months, this thing's going out with next week's trash. This could have been a great product but they screwed up too many of the little details.

Great for a busy schedule.:
After just a little practice on the cooking time, you to will be surprised at just how much time this grill saves. Not only fast, but a great taste as well. You won't be sorry.
