Irresistable:
I first tried Myojo Udon about 3 years ago. I'd seen them at a local grocery store. Every chance I got, I'd get several packages. They were so irresistible, I ate them every day and never got tired of them. After a short while, the store stopped stocking them and I went into a deep depression....not really, but it was sad that they stopped carrying them. After a while Amazon started carrying Myojo Udon and in different flavours I hadn't heard of. Long story short, Myojo Udon is the best thing since Spam. ps, try it with Tuna, it's lovely.
best "instant" udon I've had:
Having sampled a variety of both dried and instant type udon noodles I have found that Myojo's are some of the best. The noodles are always pleasantly textured and the flavor packets are tasty, but not so overpowering that you can't add things to your soup to make it a meal. (seafood, vegetables, miso, seaweed, etc) Pricing is very good on these as well, and with amazon's free shipping they are far more affordable for me than driving 100 mile round trip to the nearest large town with an asian grocery that carries them.

In short, I'm a big soup eater, not a big fan of the typical ramen noodles, too salty - there is another product on Amazon that is organic, good but not as tasty and satisfying as Myojo Udon noodles. I read the other review and am not fond of SPAM but this is very good and I also don't tire of eating it day in, day out. It is very nice that it also is on "prime" to avoid extra shipping cost.
I like it.:
It's easy and low fat. A little trick: add a pack of instant Miso-soup (red or dark miso are better), tofu and vegetable (Mizu-na, cabbage, baby spinach, e.t.c ) makes an easy nutritious meal.
