Surprisingly non-sweet:
This one is interesting. The smell is very distinct, and I must admit I'm not very fond of the aroma. Now the flavor is entirely different. I was immediately struck by its lack of sweetness (compared to other honeys). It tasted more like a sweet cooking sauce. The taste actually reminds me of "five spice powder" used in Chinese cooking, sweetened with a bit of molasses. This is definitely one for cooking, particularly meats. I think that with some savory and pungent spices, a little soy, and perhaps a splash of rice wine, this would make an amazing honey chicken glaze.
