This might make a decent novelty gift, but I wouldn't recommend eating it - bad taste, bad texture, made the house smell awful.
Actually, pretty tasty and enjoyable:
Following package directions (fry over low heat, turning often), resulted in a delicate and tasty morning meat to go with my eggs and rice. Examining the meat, I have no doubt that if I had cooked it improperly (high heat, too long, no turning), it would have been "truly disgusting". However, it's all about following directions. Yum!
