Nice bright colors, perfect weight, well made, lots of style!: My daughter absolutely loves this duvet for it's style and bright colors. The flowers on one side and stripes on the other give her lots of decorating options. She likes the "Little Missmatched" style of decorating, but didn't particularly like their comforters. I didn't choose "Little Missmatched" because you must buy a bed-in-a-bag and we wanted our own unique style of coordinated mismatch, and we wanted a lighter weight and better thread count than their comforter. My daughter also loves this because her new bedding is the envy of her friends! She's had nothing but compliments. I love it because it's easy care, washable cotton, the weight and weave of the fabric is perfect, and it's very well finished along the edges. It is the perfect duvet to carry your daughter from childhood into her tween and teen years in style. The twin duvet comes with a standard sham. Aqua, orange, yellow, lime, hot pink, magenta and chocolate - what girl doesn't love these colors?
The colors fade after 6 months of use and washings: My daughter really loves this duvet and several other items from the collection. It looks great and blends well with almost any color setup in the room. However, duvet colors got noticeably fader after 6 months of use. It has not happened (this quickly) with any other linen brands we are using. Based on some of the other product reviews for this line there may be issues with color.
Love it!: I'm currently redoing my room, and I bought this with other bedding from the same line, and I absolutely love the whole set. I looked at a lot of bedding options to find something my mom and I could agree on, which was quite a challenge, but this one we both love. It appeals to my childish desire for bright colors and cute patterns, but also meets my moms standards for more mature (or at least teenage) decor. Even my sister likes them, even though that wasn't a requirement for buying them, because the '60s "flower-power" aspect of the bedding line appeals to her more trendy, fashionable taste. I also love this bedding set because I don't have to make my bed for it to look good. In fact, if I did make my bed, then I wouldn't get to see the pink tie-dye sheets. Of course, it also looks nice if I do actually make my bed (I don't want to put off the parents too much), but it's also great for somewhat less tidy girls and young women who want our rooms to look good even when they're not perfectly neat. I've only had this duvet three months, but so far the colors are just as bright as when I got it. I will say though that I was mislead by the title, and didn't realize it was just a duvet cover, rather than a pre-filled comforter type thing, because it just said "duvet" whereas everything else I looked at said "duvet cover." It worked out fine for me since I already had a comforter to put in it, even though my mom specifically told me not to get a duvet cover, and it may just be that I don't know enough about bedding terminology to have figured it out before hand, but I was unpleasantly surprised when it arrived and I realized my error. I still gave it 5 stars, since I realized afterwards that it said in the description it was a duvet cover, and it was entirely my mistake, but I did want to highlight that for others who might make the same mistake.
