i enjoyed it very much: This was a fist Craft novel for me and i can say that it did not dissapoint me.Very good story line and well thought out characters.Romace, love, mystery, envy all given in good doses.
SWoodywise from Silver Spring, Maryland: This book was wonderful! I'm a lover of all kinds of music, including country, so I loved "The Way You Make Me Feel". I was able to get right into the relationship between Stevie Simms and Damien Steele, and I pulled for them all the way. I know from experience how it feels to want love so badly and yet be afraid to go there, so I was glad when they finally found each other. I loved all the songs because I'm a neophyte songwriter, and I grew up in the south with country music. I've observed Francine Craft over time, and her stories never cease to fascinate me. I really hate to see that the Steele family series has come to an end. I wish that she'd dredge up an uncle, cousin, whatever. I get hooked on books and writers I enjoy.
Avid Male Romance Novel Reader of Fracine Craft Novels!: I've kept up with Francine Craft's books since the beginning and she hasn't failed me yet. I feel The Way You Make Me Feel has an edge that brings it down home to everyone and provides mystery, deep and abiding love, jealousy, betrayal. I absolutely adore the sexy, sensual scenes. They add a whole lot to the story. It's like a female friend's Romantic Times Review mag says, "There's something for everyone." You go, Ms. Craft! And I anxiously await the next one.
Average quick read.: Genre: Romance Title: The Way You Make Me Feel AUTHOR: Francine Craft Successful singer-songwriter Stevie Simms stumbles out of the woods with amnesia almost twenty-four hours after witnessing something horrific. She trusts her instincts that a safe man lives in the colossal white house in front of her and rings the doorbell seeking safety. Honi Holmes is still in Damian Steele's life. After being on the brink of self-destruction due to her betrayal, he will not allow himself to fall in love again. His life changes the moment he finds Stevie at his door in need of help and in deep fear of recalling the event that gave her amnesia. The two instantly become inseparable and make mutual life-long decisions and commitments. The author vividly depicts nightclub performance scenes in an engaging way in The Way You Make Me Feel, yet is unable to do the same for the romantic and mystery portions of the novel. The reader is overwhelmed with the repetitiveness of actions, minutia, song lyrics and awkward dialogue which muddle the storyline and make the characters uninspiring. Surprisingly, the romantic leads are not mutually attracted to each other. One of them must continually strive to focus beyond the physical appearance of the other, which makes the few sex scenes tepid and objectifying. The pertinent details of the mystery are held back from the reader making the conclusion lacking and unsatisfying. Francine Craft is the pen name of a Washington, D.C.-based writer. She has been a psychological research assistant, elementary school teacher, business school instructor and legal secretary. Her hobbies include photography and songwriting. The Way You Make Me Feel is the seventh and final book in a series about the Steele family. This is an average quick read for anyone who has some free time and wants a mild distraction. Another Great Boook by Francine Craft!!!!: This story was filled with so much drama that I could not put it down until I finished it! The main characters Damien Steele and Stevie Simms are the perfect couple and you will enjoy reading how they both learn to trust love again after dealing with so much deceit from former loves. Another great story about the Steele family.
