Features:- Saline nasal rinse bottle
- For use in administering saline of other nasal rinsing as needed for relief of allergy symptoms and accompanying sinus discomfort
THE best thing for allergies: I started using home-made nasal saline rinse several years ago, after hearing an allergy doctor interviewed on the radio. He said it works better than anything else for sinus allergies, and he sure was right. For years, I had a constant post-nasal drip that drove me crazy. Since no allergy medication had had the slightest effect on it and every doctor I'd ever talked to kept giving me cortisone nasal spray, which does nothing for me, I gave it a try. Long story short: This is the only thing that ever had the slightest effect on my sinus drainage, and it completely wipes it out for hours, sometimes days at a time. I can not overstate how much this has helped me. You can look up recipes and instructions online, but basically it's just water and salt and maybe some baking soda. The high salt content causes the sinus membranes to drain and flush out allergens and irritants. I can honestly say my sinuses hardly bother me at all any more. I've tried other bottles, but this is my favorite, because it's the easiest to keep clean. I finally went ahead and ordered the case of 24, so I could always have clean spares on hand, and to give them to friends and family.
Make your own: Buy an empty bottle for a few cents and create your own. Works better for me than decongestants which swell the tissues and make the stuffiness problem worse. Kind of unpleasant when you're rinsing, but worth it.
