Good leaf gatherer:
I didn't buy this sweeper because I want a perfect green, leaf-free lawn, but because I use leaves in my garden and compost, and I wanted an easier way to gather them up. Turns out it does gather one heck of a lot of leaves with very little effort, though I do wish it had a larger capacity. (I live in the woods and have about an acre of open land to gather leaves from.) It is much easier to push, and gathers more thoroughly, over smooth terrain; it leaves more behind where the ground isn't level. It also helps a lot if you mow before the leaves start to fall because, just as with a regular rake, it's a pain to get leaves out of tall grass. I've learned to adjust the height when I move from smooth to uneven ground and that saves me a lot of frustration - fortunately it's very easy to adjust the height. If I could find a way to increase its capacity I'd be thrilled, but as it is I've taken to carrying a collapsible bucket around with me and moving the leaves to that every now and then. A 30-gallon collapsible bucket will hold about twelve sweeper-loads, and it sure would be nice if it held more.

The product was broke when I opened the box.. adjustment handle was broke off. wasted my money this lawn leaf pick up is a bad product

Lawn Sweeper Saves Time over Raking:
This product helped save tremendous amount of time over raking. It was very easy to assemble, very intuitive to use, and works great in yards with short grass. It also saves your back as the need to bend over is greatly diminished, and the product does help gather a lot of leaves with very little effort. In all, the lawn sweeper helped save me 50% time over last year on the same yard with the same amount of leaves. My only real issue is not with the product with the company. The company Precision Products did not respond to an email that I sent them asking for a replacement part. But for the most part I am very happy with purchase of the Lawn Sweeper and I would recommend the product to a friend.

Arrived damaged, delivery "problems":
I can't review the performance of this product because it arrived with several parts (that were supposed to be attached) not attached, namely one wheel, the adjustment handle (impossible to re-attach) and a gear that goes with the unattached wheel loose in the box. This thing was made in China, so I guess that's my bad. Finally, to avoid lawsuits, let's just say that after the UPS delivery person left packages on my front porch on 2 consecutive days, I found my Obama '08 yard sign in the bushes (no pun intended) each day.
