A well-made tool for battling serious weeds! The 3 long tines can be easily driven into the soil at the base of the offending plant; the long handle provides leverage to rip it out. Then, when you've got a pile of debris, the tines provide a handy rake to clean it all up. I've used it on big clumps of perennial grasses, on patches of Bermuda grass, on invading blackberries, on French broom, and lots of other things. The mattock end is well-sharpened, great for precision whacking of things like dandelion, Picris, dock and other small weeds.
