Very Gummy Absent Flavor:
I am a fairly good cook and had no issues with the preparation. The texture was dissappointing. I boiled the gnocchi as instructed, then sauted it with onions, garlic, and butter. A little parmesan cheese and fresh ground pepper was added. The gnocchi did have a strong whole wheat taste, but the texture was gummy. Once the product cooled some, the texture did slightly improve. I will use the remainder of my 6-pack order of gnocchi, but I will try another method of preparation to impove on the taste. Unfortunately, I don't know if this gummy texture is inherent of gnocchi, since I have never eaten fresh gnocchi. I cannot recommend this product. I prefer a good whole wheat penne.
