beautiful and a nice size:
I was glad to read the review about these items being too small, because it made me careful. I almost did not order them, but I read what the dimensions are in the item description, and decided that they seemed to be an okay size. They arrived today, and are great. The sizes match the descriptions. I beg to differ with the earlier reviewer. I measured the sugar bowl's capacity. Rather than a "scant three tablespoons", it holds a full two-thirds of a cup of sugar. Likewise, the creamer's capacity is a little over one cup. That's plenty for me, and for serving after dinner coffee to guests. "Doll house"? Not unless it's as big as my house. Maybe that customer somehow got a different product than I did. I love mine!
Cant tell size from the description:
While this pattern is appealing, there is no way to know from the photo or from the written description that the sugar bowl is truly mini. More like doll house size. It fills with a scant three tablespoons of sugar. Likewise the fruit bowls might hold three grapes apiece! Why should this be surprise to the purchaser?

This item was received well packaged. I was truly surprised by the quality. It's a petite beautiful piece made in Italy. For this incredible price, you can't go wrong.
