The creative folks at Tovolo have come up with the latest way to make food prep fun-kitchen utensils that stand upright. Each Standz tool features an ergonomic, soft-grip handle with a flat base measuring 1-1/2 inches in diameter, allowing it to stay upright on the countertop for several reasons: to eliminate germ transference between counter and tool, to keep drips and food particles off the counter, and to provide for quick grabbing. A cheerful complement to the handsome graphite-gray handle, the head of each tool is made of translucent polycarbonate in a bright color range, making the tool easy to find should it end up in a cluttered drawer. I wasn't sure:
I wasn't sure if this little gadget would actually work or would be relegated to the back of my kitchen gadgets drawer forever. I love this tool. It pits and slices avocados in an instant taking out all the messy work. Excellent!

avocado slicer:
The product does not work...the plastic parts are too wide to go through the avocado cleanly. You have to push out the sections sliced with your finger or something else. In this case you pay for what you get. A cheap price--a cheap, useless tool.

This Thing is Awesome!!!:
This slicer is so easy to use and works perfectly. It gets all of the avocado out, and in perfect little slices. It now takes 20 seconds to have an avocado ready to eat. I love it!

My wife is very happy with this scooper. Does cut the avocado slicers smooth and neatly.
