this is a cool thing:
This is definitely a cool thing. It worked very well in my huge kitchen project, I had to sand an entire kitchen (>200 sq ft) walls/ceiling to a flat finish to remove a minor imperfections after the deep skim coating over the drywall (to fix an ugly texture I had and to match some new drywall I put in in some places). No dust and no masks to wear - just as they promised. The lightweight construction is actually a key. I don't really meant to hummer a nails with it :), and don't want to lift any massive metal handles either. What I suggest is to have a longer hose (even longer that the one that comes with the unit) so the bucket among with the vacuum can be easily placed outside of the house. That is what I did, it was enough hose length in my case. That way - you solve any issues with noise, totally (the most noise came from my beast vacuum anyway). -Dan

Don't waste your money on this product. The pole handle broke on the first use. Poorly made. It's not dustless. My house is still filled with drywall dust. It comes with only one screen for sanding. Useless.

OVER PRICED PEACE OF JUNK:
I cannot believe how poor of a quality this unit turned out! The idea is good but the unit consists of cheap plastic parts. To sell consumers this product for the asking price is criminal! I have no clue about the one review on this item praising how good it works? Its more expensive then a higher end shop vac! TWO THUMBS AND TWO TOES DOWN!

I am impressed with the amount of dust this unit captures. I have done jobs in the past where I had no dust collection and this is heaven in comparasion. Like one of the other reviews the only major dust I had was left on the wall to wipe down.

I returned this produce for a refund:
This product was very cheaply made and made so much noise I had to wear earplugs. The manufacturer said the noise was because of the convoluted surface of the flexible hose. I believe it was because the hose is too small in diameter. In spite of using an industrial grade vacuum cleaner an estimated 20-30% of the dust escaped from the sanding pad onto the floor and my head. I would rate this a NO STAR product. I quickly returned the product to Amazon for a full refund. Amazon's service was very satisfactory.
