Yummy!:
I bought this item as I was having difficulty getting my regular brand of curry paste which I have been using for the last 4 years. I was so pleased with it that I am not going back to my original brand. You can either prepare it simply as directed on the box, or you could elaborate it a little by frying some diced onions in a pan at the beginning and adding a vegetable near the end. We like adding mushrooms, but you could add almost any thing. The fresh cilantro garnish at the end is a must. It really gives the curry a wonderful flavor.

Excellent and easy:
This paste is excellent. I'm not the best in the kitchen. I tried cooking some Indian food before with very mixed results. This paste is a great foundation for an indian meal. I add chicken as recommended, but also cut up onions, potatoes and I really love to cut up some medium hot fresh chili. Highly Recommended! Great way to impress your wife, she'll think you can actually cook. It's easy and fun.
Better than restaurants:
I agree with Allen H, i.e. any really negative review is suspect, maybe from an Indian restaurant owner. I am a widower so this meal lasts me for 3 meals (with a side dish and bread). Sometimes it lasts only 2 meals when I can't resist seconds. So far it is my favorite KOI product.
Amazingly easy way to prepare chicken:
I'm a bit fickle with Chicken. If it tastes even a little bit off I can lose my appetite for it. This paste makes a sauce that is quick and easy to make. Most of all, I like how the recipe makes sure the Chicken is COOKED by bringing it to a boil twice. And it tastes great over rice. I can't give it 5 stars because it doesn't measure up to the best curry I've ever tasted, but it's good enough that I have bought a couple 6-packs so far.
