Perfectly Low-Profile:
If you like the rubberized feel of your HTC Herald (aka T-Mobile Wing) but want to rprotect the phone itsef from random scratches, then this is the perfect casing. I wanted a black casing for my phone to help it keep a low profile in public places (I use my phone constanty in all kids of settings, some of which make it prone to possibly being stolen. The blue coloring is pretty, but a little more eye-catching than I would like.) The photo for this product makes the color look a little bit grey, but it is a pure, solid black. I do wish I could remove the round clear knob that the belt clip attaches to on the back, but it's not a big deal. The casing is easy to put on and remove without a fight. It manages to stay on during everyday use, though. All ports and openings are allowed full access, and the two halves do not cause any undue friction when sliding the keyboard out. This was a concern of mine, because of the perceived fragility of the phone's sliding mechanism. I did notice that the paint is black while the plastic of the casing is white, so if it receives any medium to major damage, the casing might have to be painted or replaced. Also, the paint only covers the outside surfaces and doesn't really cover the inner edges well. This is acceptable for such a low cost item, but I may paint the inner edges myself when I get the time, just for cosmetic reasons. 5 stars.
Nice case to protect my phone:
I like the case, it's a great way to protect the outside of my phone. looks great and fits really nice. I only wish there was a way to remove the little plastic piece on the back that holds the belt clip on. It makes it difficult to carry in the other case I also use. But overall, it's a nice case.
