Gable attic fan:
This fan arrived in a box with no packaging to speak of and a few bits of broken plastic in the bottom. That's right, plastic... the whole frame is plastic. Looks like metal in the pictures, doesn't it? This "heavy duty extra quiet" fan is just about all plastic and was warped on arrival. I could only imagine it would warp more in a hot attic! I contacted the vendor who un-charged my card with no fuss but strangely, did not want the fan back, just wanted to claim shipping damage... Anyone want a warped cracked plastic attic fan cheap? I bought an all-metal Dayton from Grainger to install.
