Christmas Cover-up

OH YIKES! DEAD BODIES - SOME KIND OF COVER-UP:
Rue Harris makes Ruth Ann's Cakes - she needs some PR to get her bakery to really take off. She does find Cody Berringer attractive as he begins to strip off his Santa suit. He is a corporate lawyer? Danny Mason was one of Rue's mother's many husband and one she looked up to as a child. Danny could do no wrong as far as she could see. He would not be involved in a 20 year old cover-up. Bob Lindahl - was Danny's long time associate and friend and she called him "Uncle Bob" - I think he had his eye on Rue (if he could get away with it). He was murdered right in front of Ruth. Mike Blanco was another of Danny's associates from twenty years ago as a former cop and now he suffers from serious heart ailments. Jerome Samuels - he is now Danny's campaign manager for Mayor of Denver. He was 14 years old when he started hanging out at Danny's place and he doesn't like Ruth. He got out of the gangs. Bernice Layne helps Ruth run her bakery and "she" is interested on one of the guys. You will get a kick out of her. Some one had murdered "Lucky" Ted Berringer 20 years ago and the killer was never caught. Cody wants some answers and thinks Ruth can give him some little remembered information. Ah, but he does start to fall for her even though his tastes run to buxom blondes. A very good read - but not a deep sense of depth of danger. Characters are very interesting - plot is a bit intriguing - will recommend to read.
