We could never have made it through the trauma of breaking our daughter from her blankie if it wasn't for her new friend, Sockey, from Mr. Magoriums Wonder Emporium. He is now with us on every adventure and helps to dry any tear that may appear. He's adorable and came with the movie book from Santa this Christmas. He's already suffered a few tears and rips here but he is right by my daughters side at ALL times so I'm not surprised. GREAT gift and buying through Amazon is always so easy! What a great buddy and parents, he's just the right size for travel!

Great monkey but not at this price:
This is a very cute sock monkey and both of my daughters love theirs. I bought both of my daughters this exact sock monkey at Target for 14.99 each. You might want to try Target first before you fork out this type of money.
Great Sock Monkey:
I saw this at Target and may have bought the last one the store had. I love it. It's been sitting in my study and I am with it every day. It makes me smile. This is the nicest made sock monkey that I've seen, though I'm not sure but what I would love most sock monkeys. It's a great idea! No wonder Carol Duvall so often featured sock monkey on her craft program. It's on DIY's website, too. Sock monkeys are so neat!
Bought as a collectible.:
This item is very nice looking and seems to be well-built. In our case, though, it was bought as a collectible and will probably never see rigorous play or even an easy existance as a bed-time snuggle pal. I couldn't say if the investment is a good one for a child's toy.
