Good Quality, Adequate for a Dorm Room:
The description is not that detailed; by frame, this company means a plastic edge the clasps on the edge of the board, rather than a true "frame." The edge is ca. 3/16 wide on the viewing side. The front is shiny plastic rather than glass; there is a slight glare as it is not a matte finish. There is a protective plastic sheet on the front to prevent scratching, that can be easily removed. The backing is a type of particle board. The board is slightly covered is particle board dust, so that when you place the poster on the board, some of the particles may become imbedded between the plastic and the poster. Therefore, you should gently wipe down the particle board before you mount the poster. They provide a piece of paper with a wide black border (as shown in the image) that allows you to mount smaller images, providing a black border around the image. At a distance, the frame will look just fine on any wall. All in all, had I known this is so cheaply made, I would have saved my money and sprung for a real frame. This is fine in a pinch, but not something I want to stare at for any length of time.
