Not good for puppies:
I bought this medium sized retractible lead for my 3 month old 10 lb puppy expecting it to last him until he got bigger. We had it a little over a week before he chewed completely through the belt. Not sure if the larger size one will have a thicker belt or if it's just not for any puppy or dog that likes to chew or grab the leash with his teeth to play.
