I purchased this watch for my girlfriend this Christmas. The fit and finish are excellent and the movement (ETA Swiss Made Quartz) is a dependable, rugged workhorse. If you're looking for a ladies watch that is classy and elegant on any occasion, yet functional enough to be worn running, swimming, or hiking, look no further than this beautiful watch.

I've had this watch for 4 years and nothing has gone wrong with it yet. I only recently had to change the battery. Very dependable and attractive watch.

Great every day watch; Durable; Good looking; Runs like a CHAMP!:
I love watches -- perhaps because one of the first real presents I remember getting from my dad was a red-faced Timex -- I loved that watch. I also love FINE watches -- I have a Rolex and Omega and several vintage Illinois watches which are nearly 100 years old. However, I'm always concerned about wearing my Omega out when I'm going horseback riding. My Rolex is too high maintenance and getting it serviced is expensive and relatively difficult since it is a vintage watch. The antique watches? Don't even thing about it! I bought this watch because I love the classic styling of Swiss Army and the fact that they are built like tanks. They keep perfect time and you can wear them everywhere: to the beach, when swimming with the kids, mucking out stalls at the barn, and too the office and out for a nice dinner on the town (our definition of "nice dinner" is any place where they don't have a clown and you don't place your order through a speaker!). The price this watch is very reasonable -- particularly on Amazon -- and you get the quality that you will find with no other watch any where at any price... PERIOD. This is the type of watch that you will pass on to your own kids -- just as my dad left me the Elgin watch he had when he was in high school (and THAT watch still runs like a champ!). If you want a solid watch that will command respect and can be worn anywhere, I HIGHLY recommend Swiss Army. Ladies' Swiss Army Officer's 1884 Mother-Of-Pearl Watch.
