my daughter loves this alarm clock, she can't wait to get the matcing lamp so that the clock and lamp can "talk" to each other.
Not just for tweens:
I picked up this toy/alarmclock at a Target after Christmas sale. I'm a 21 year old college male and boy, do I love this adorable little thing! It works as described and the technology isn't lagging or ruining the experience. That said, I wish that it did more and was able to "learn" and "grow" or develop "personality" over time according to how you treat it. I'm looking forward to more beingz getting introduced in the product line, especially if the interactive capabilities build. Wouldn't it be cool if you could interact with your friends alarmclock and moodlamp? (Send them messages and songs for instance.) It would have been a perfect gift for me, had I not bought one myself!
Neat kid technology:
My son received this for Christmas, and has had a great time with it - but is already a real technology hound. He hooked up an MP3 player to it and noticed that the lights were going along with the beat of whatever song was being played. I like the setup of it, the fact that the alarm is not obnoxious, and will definitely buy him the lamp so we can see what else this great little clock can do. Probably won't be long before my other son has a set in his room....
