Kardea Variety Pak- Gourmet Nutrition Bars:
I recently tried the Kardea Variety Pak of Gourmet Nutrition Bars, looking for a healthier alternative to my boring Kashi bars. I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked these, especially after opening the first bar and seeing a taffy-like texture. The proof was in the eating, though. All four flavors had good taste, even the Chai Spice, which I expected to taste lousy. I prefer the Banana Nut, and the Cranberry Almond was a close second. The consistency was chewy, but the bar left me with less of a food craving than the Kashi bars. The high fiber and nutritional elements put it over the top for me. Highly recommended!

Kardea Bars:
My husband and I started purchasing Kardea bars several months ago. The original reason for the purchase was to aid in lowing my husband's cholesterol. Kardea bars have now replaced other breakfast and power bars we previously purchased. For me cholesterol isn't a problem. Although, I do enjoy the bars,especially the Chi Spice with a cup of tea. Besides the great taste, the bars are low in fat and high in fiber. For anyone who follows Weight Watchers the bars are low in points. You feel like you're cheating when you're not!!
