Amazon.com Product Description:
Tired of taking your funky hibachi to the ballpark every time you want to tailgate? Turn to the Coleman Special Edition Road Trip Grill LXE, an authentic open-flame grill that packs up compactly for easy transport and storage. The Road Trip Grill LXE offers two powerful, fully adjustable 20,000 BTU burners, along with support for several mix-and-match cooking surfaces, including a drip-through grill, a pancake griddle, and a stove for heating water (the latter two are separately). Plus, the burners are powerful enough for both cold-weather and high-altitude cooking, so you can pretty much use it anywhere. Perhaps the coolest feature, however, is the X-shaped chassis, which distinguishes the LXE model from its predecessor. In its upright position, the chassis holds the grill at a standard cooking level, and includes bottom wheels for easy maneuvering along a deck or parking lot. However, when it's time to pack up the grill, the scissor-like legs collapse in seconds and fold into a compact frame about the size of a standard hibachi. There's no easier way to enjoy the versatility of a full-size upright grill and the convenience of a portable unit. It even includes a small handle along the side, so you can pull the grill along the pavement like you would a rolled suitcase. The Road Trip Grill LXE also includes a bonus griddle, utensil set, and a temperature gauge. Two integrated side tables slide out for grilling and cooking duties, and then retract under the unit for travel and storage. And because the grill is affixed to the stand and includes a lockable lid, the unit is steady and secure at all times. Other details include built-in tool holders, two porcelain-coated cast-iron grill grates, a removable grease management tray, and 285 square inches of cooking surface area. The grill--which operates on a single disposable 16.4-ounce propane cylinder (not included)--lasts for up to 1.1 hours with both burners on high or 4.5 hours on low. It's also adaptable to a 20-pound propane tank with the purchase of a separate tank hose and tank. The Road Trip Grill LXE measures 22 by 36 by 13 inches (W x H x D), weighs 60 pounds, and carries a limited 5-year warranty. About Coleman The Coleman Company has been creating and innovating products for recreational outdoor use since W.C. Coleman started selling gasoline-powered lanterns in 1900. Inventor of the hugely popular fold-up camp stove, Coleman developed a plastic liner for his galvanized steel coolers in 1957--the birth of the modern cooler--and the company has been improving their utility and design ever since. The array of products that bear the Coleman name now includes just about everything you might need to work or play outdoors, from tents and sleeping bags to boats, backpacks, and furniture.

Great unit:
Arrived in a box that was rather banged up in transit. Fortunately the unit is packed in a form fitting styrofoam shell, so it was undamaged. Setup was quick and easy, and since I plan on using this from the garage in winter (easier than having to shovel the back patio to grill in the winter here in Wisconsin) I bypassed the small canister and am using one of my spare 20lb propane tanks with the adapter hose I purchased separately. Unit folds up easily and sets up quickly, and rolls well even when the legs are extended. Solid feel, but I'm not sure about the lock since it takes an excessive amount of force to lock it when the grill pieces are in place. I don't see having to ever lock the lid though except for extremely rare circumstances I may take it somewhere, so not an issue for me. Burners work well, puts out a surprising amount of heat for such a small grill, and worked well cooking steaks, brats, and burgers. The knobs are a bit annoying since they have to be pressed in to turn even when it's already on (unlike "normal" grills that usually just have safety features that make you depress the knob for the initial rotation out of the OFF position). haven't had to clean it yet as I've only just received it, but I may do another owner's suggestion of lining with aluminum foil just to make it easier in the long run.

Coleman Grill:
This grill is great for cooking outdoors. We love all the different grill grates, griddle and cooking grates. The only thing that is less than perfect is the clean up on it is difficult. The bottom of the unit is aluminum and you can't use oven cleaner on it so if you want to keep it clean you have to use lots of elbow grease. I am going to try lining it will aluminum foil next time we use it to help with the clean up.

BBQ:
I am very impressed with this BBQ. Lots of space for grilling. It has a griddle with it too. I have only used it once so far, but I really like it
